Frequently asked

Is remote support secure?
Yes. We use a one-time session link that only connects when you accept it, and the connection ends the moment we close it. We never have ongoing access to your machine afterward.
What can you actually fix remotely?
Most software issues: slow PCs, malware cleanup, email and account problems, software installs and updates, settings you can't find. Anything that involves the computer being on and connected to the internet is fair game.
What can't you fix remotely?
A computer that won't power on, hardware that needs replacing, and Wi-Fi or network problems we can't actually see. Those need an in-home visit.
How do we get started?
Call us first. We talk through what's happening and decide together whether remote will work. If it's a good fit, we send a one-time connection link and get going.
