About the role
Most of our repair work is in customers’ homes — we drive to them and fix the problem on-site. The rest is remote support, handled from your home over a screen share. No drop-off shop, no mail-in, no Apple devices.
A typical week is a mix of scheduled visits and same-day calls across Volusia and Seminole County. You’ll work directly with the customer the whole time: walk in, figure out what’s wrong, fix it, explain what you did, and head to the next call.
What you’ll do
- Drive to residential customers across Volusia and Seminole County
- Diagnose and repair Windows PCs and Android phones and tablets
- Handle hardware swaps — drives, RAM, SSDs, fans, batteries
- Remove viruses and malware; recover data when possible
- Set up home networking, printers, smart-home devices
- Run remote support sessions for jobs that don’t need a house call
- Walk non-technical customers through what you did and why
What we need
- Comfort with Windows internals and common hardware repairs
- Solid grasp of home networking and consumer-grade equipment
- Reliable vehicle and a clean driving record
- A demeanor that holds up when someone hands you a broken laptop and their family photos are on it
- Local to Volusia or Seminole County (this is not a remote-from-anywhere role)
Industry certifications and prior repair-shop experience are a plus but not a requirement. If you’ve been fixing your own and your neighbors’ computers for years, that counts.
Compensation
$31,200–$62,400 a year, base plus performance pay. We walk through the specifics in the interview.
W-2 employment.
